Breathwork

“But surely, If I didn’t know how to breathe, I’d be dead”

Most people are breathing unhealthily. Just notice your breathing now. How deep is it? where is primarily located? What is it’s cadence? Your life is profoundly affected by the way that you breathe. There are as many breathing patterns as there are people on the planet. Low oxygen intake induces stress, and leads to acidification of the body which sets the stage for infection and dis-ease.

The magic of the breath is that it’s under conscious control. It’s a tool that we can use to change our lives. When we’re breathing appropriately, we can increase dopamine levels, raise oxytocin levels (the ‘love’ hormone), balance the endocrine system (controls metabolism and emotions) and change our blood chemistry to a more alkaline environment. It is the primary way that we oxygenate and alkalinise our bodies, and supplies energy to the body.

Together, we’ll explore how to breathe, and it will be your superpower to being calm and present in your world.

Mindfulness 2.0

I’ve been practising and teaching mindfulness with great success for many years. It has personally been the primary method that has healed my negative thoughts and negative state of being, especially in the wintertime.

But I’ve noticed it’s recently attracted some criticism. When I researched it, I found that people either didn’t ‘get it’ from the start, or were disallusiond in it’s efficacy in their lives.

I realised that regular mindfulness training misses out an important element that is the key to its success. I’ve worked on building a mindful model that includes this missing piece and I include it in my teachings. Come find out!

Emotional Freedom Technique

Who knew that by tapping on certain areas of the face and body while tuning into an issue, helps you relieve stress and feel better in the moment. I use a technique that combines different coaching skills to root out emotional causes of suffering to bring about freedom.
